BPI Welcomes New Senior Project Manager, Justice Reform

BPI is pleased to welcome Lindsey LaPointe to our staff as Senior Project Manager, Justice Reform.

Prior to joining BPI in August 2017, Lindsey served as Program Manager for Adult Redeploy Illinois, which provides funding and technical assistance to Illinois counties, enabling them to direct non-violent offenders from state prisons and provide them with a range of community-based services. During her tenure there, she was part of a team that successfully expanded the program to 39 Illinois counties. In addition to program management, Lindsey’s responsibilities included policy research and communications strategies focused on identifying alternatives to incarceration and opportunities to reduce recidivism.

She is committed to efforts that will safely decrease the use of incarceration in Illinois and the United States and considers decarceration a key component of social justice work.

Lindsey holds a Masters in Social Work, Community Health, and Urban Development from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois and a BA from Grinnell College.
