REQUIREMENTS OF THE FELLOWSHIP
To be eligible to receive a Polikoff-Gautreaux Fellowship, applicants must possess the following:
- JD or MA/MS in public policy or a related field
- Demonstrated interest or experience in one of BPI's program areas (affordable housing, public housing, public education, and political reform)
- Accomplished oral and writing skills
- Strong academic record
- Initiative, creativity and flexibility
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of organizations, constituent groups, government and civic leaders
