BPI Urges Gov. Rauner to Sign Automatic Voter Registration Bill

Gov. Rauner has until tomorrow to act on SB250, an automatic voter registration bill which passed the General Assembly in June with broad bipartisan support.  BPI and the Brennan Center for Justice urge him to sign the bill into law.  Automatic registration streamlines the registration process for voters and election officials. It saves money, increases efficiency and boosts security.
